STEM CELL RESEARCH:
FINDING CURES WE CAN ALL LIVE WITH
(Spanish Language Version) La Ciencia de las Células Madre: En La Búsqueda de la Cura para Enfermedades y Protección de la Vida
The Michigan Catholic Conference asked SainMax Worldwide to produce a version of the mini-documentary for distribution to Catholics in Michigan. Here's what was sent out to more than 500,000 Catholic households.
Commissioned by the Kansas Catholic Conference and now available for widespread distribution, this video will help viewers learn...
- How stem cell research being promoted by the biotechnology industry and others involves the manipulation and destruction of living human embryos?with no cures in sight.
- That a another kind of stem cell research using so-called adult stem cells is both morally acceptable and already effective at providing cures and treatments for people suffering from debilitating diseases and conditions.
- About a patient advocate who first supported, but now opposes embryonic stem cell research, not on moral grounds, but because it is ineffective and wastes valuable resources.
- Why embryonic stem cell advocates want to actually clone human life for the purpose of destroying living embryos in unproven and questionable experiments.
- Why a coalition of feminists from across the political and religious spectrum are calling for an immediate moratorium on human cloning because it endangers the health and lives of young, fertile women.
- The reasons why stem cell research is not really a religious issue, but one of basic human rights?and how it is quickly becoming the most important bioethical debate of our time.

Stem Cell Education Campaign Delivers Major Success at the Polls
|
November 8, 2006 |
When Vitae Caring Foundation teamed up with SaintMax Worldwide in the Spring of 2006, the proponents of the Missouri stem cell Amendment claimed a 28 point lead in the polls. With six months to election day the polls showed proponents of embryonic stem cell research held a 59% to 31% advantage over opponents.
That's when Vitae and SaintMax went to work. The partners produced three powerful, 30 second spots which were broadcast on local TV stations throughout the state of Missouri.
The first fruits of this campaign were seen in September, when new polls showed thousands of Missourians had switched from "favoring" the Stem Cell Amendment to "undecided". By the time election day rolled around, the campaign had closed the gap to 50% in favor to 49% opposed.
Amendment 2 passed but the campaign was considered a success because it closed the margin of victory to just 2 percent of voters. Vitae and SaintMax had found a message that resonated with voters and executed a plan to get that message out.

When Dr. Thomas Hilgers and the Pope Paul VI Institute needed to communicate the powerful and uplifting message of NaPro Technology, it turned to SaintMax Worldwide. Working with the American Academy of Fertility Care Professionals (AAFCP), a storytelling team from SaintMax produced, wrote, videotaped and edited the NaPro story and then distributed that same story to millions of local television viewers by using the Networks' own newsfeed systems. CNN, Fox and CBS News all picked up the story and offered it to their affiliates.
This is the kind of media savy and storytelling know-how that SaintMax brings to every project. By tapping into a wealth of network, local and syndication television experience, SaintMax works hard and works smart to deliver the biggest bang for it's partners.
